"Want me rat and me pig" - this referred to a little black rubber rat (from Halloween) and a little pink rubber pig (from a crane game on the way to Corpus) that he was attached to and insisted on sleeping with and inevitably dropped one or both while sleeping. We would have to dig through sheets and stuffed animals to find them. He left the pig in a grocery cart seat and no longer is attached to the right. He can also now say "my."
"Want Guinness." - a stuffed guinea pig from Ikea. This was usually right in front of him but he was too sleepy to notice.
"Want blueberries." - self explanatory. These days he knows that blueberries aren't in season and are, therefore, too expensive.
This morning he requested his new toy: "Want my ball with ants in it." This is, frankly, one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen. It's a squeeze ball filled with life-size bugs (roaches, ants, flies, etc) that are covered with some kind of oil that makes them wiggle when they squeeze out. Ugh. Not something I want to see at 3:45 in the morning. He loves it so much that keeps telling us that he wants to "go in there!"
Thanks Buchanan's Native Plants. I love your new toy kiosk in the gift shop.

I AM SO GLAD WE DIDN'T GO IN THE GIFT SHOP. Sorry about the middle of the night requests. We're getting them from V too, but since I'm already up, they seem less annoying...but still annoying -- I mean, don't get me wrong, still annoying.
Yeah - usually I can go right back to sleep, but last night I was up for at least an hour (Zane, of course, went right back to sleep).
The gift shop is nice, by the way. Lots of little gifty things for gifty types of people, if you know what I mean. And the toy kiosk has neat little wind-ups and squeezies that are cheap. Seriously, though, do not squeeze the bug ball. My stomach has been upset all day and I was blaming the popcorn that I ate last night but it just might be because of that thing.
Lastly, Zane bit the bug ball (after I told him not to twelve times and that if he did I would throw it away), popped it and I threw it away.
