Mmm...Zane likes turkey taco meat and macaroni & cheese and peas!

He likes it so much that he wants MORE! (This is the sign for 'more')

And MORE!
He can also say "More." Question: why are we teaching him sign language if he can say the words?

Just like his dad...

Zane likes to eat octopuses.

He's a freakin' angel

Because I never want to wake him up, I don't have many pictures of Zane sleeping (after 4 months). But on Monday I had to wake him up to go to the doctor anyway. Ah - I wish I saw him like this more often. Like, say, at 7:30 in the morning.

Today We Went on a Walk

And we saw this...
Therefore, we expect to see tadpoles in this puddle very soon.
And I saw this...

Better than frogs a'humpin!

Cobbler

This is my homemade Blueberry Apple Cobbler that came out of the oven about 10 minutes ago. I'm going to go eat it right now. Good night.

Cathleen, if you invite me to dinner tomorrow night, I'll bring the rest of it with me.

Fan Request - pictures of Mommy!

A shout-out to Ruth Graves for noticing that Mommy pictures are missing from most of these posts. Don't worry, I'm always behind the camera (or phone). After some gentle prodding, this touching little family moment pictured below was captured by John.

Oy Vey!

Even though he'd already had a delicious breakfast (notice the remnants on the tray), Zane insisted on eating half of my bagel. Since he's waking up at 6:15 a.m. these days, I was too tired to protest and too tired to cut it up into little bitty pieces. Sink or swim. He swam.

Zane loves happy hour!

Shocker! We had our own little family happy hour at Berry Hill last week. Zane really liked the vegetable sticks and the fish bites. Everything, of course, was breaded or battered and deep fried. Yum!

This isn't a "yucky" face. It's just Zane's latest expression. My mom says he gets it from me. Whatever.

Bubbles are weird.

Zane had his first bubble bath last night. He was confused at first...

And a little frightened...
And then everything was all right.
Hmmm...is this what Dan Fisher looked like as a baby?

Zinnia?

Last week, while hanging out at my mom's house, Zane had a blow-out. Sandra had cleaned out my mom's stash of extra Noah clothes, so we had nothing to wear. We borrowed some clothes from the girls accross the street. Perhaps this is what Zinnia would have looked like?

Home from Ghana

Yea! John came home last night! He's sleeping in. So is Zane. Yea!
They're both in there right now. Snoring.
