Spring is in the air!

I'm fairly certain that I've witnessed a true spring at some other
time in my life. However, this is the first I've truelly appreciated.

I love the red bud trees, pear trees and azaleas all blooming at the
same time (and miss our red bud that got taken out by Ike). Our
snapdragons that were planted last fall have come back all on their
own. It's cool enough in the morning to wear boots and warm enough in
the afternoon to switch to flipflops. But not so hot that I have to
wear tank tops and shave my underarms.

There are mosquito hawks to entertain the cats, but no mosquitos to
keep us inside. And the pecan tree in the back yard hasn't leafed out
yet, so there's still plenty of sunshine!
